Massa: Majd meglátjuk, hagyom-e vezetni Schumachert!

A brazil máris csak a versenyzésre gondol.
Felipe Massa személyi orvosa csütörtökön elmondta, hogy a Ferrari sérült brazil versenyzője már szilárd ételeket eszik, folyamatosan viccelődik, és nem gondol másra, csakis a visszatérésre – de úgy néz ki, mint egy “bokszoló.”
A Magyar Nagydíj szombati időmérő edzésén balesetet szenvedő Felipe Massa jókedvű, és máris csak a versenyzésre gondol, állítja személyi orvosa, Dino Altman.
“Felipe állapota folyamatosan javul. Eszik, sétálgat a szobájában, és délelőtt le is zuhanyzott, mint egy egészséges ember. Ez nagyszerű hír” – mondta Altman csütörtök délután a budapesti Honvéd Kórház előtt, ahol Massát kezelik. – “Ahogy már korábban említettem, nincs probléma a szemével sem, úgyhogy az is rendben van.”
“Már teljesen normális ételeket eszik. Délelőtt megreggelizett: joghurtot evett táplálék-kiegészítőkkel, kenyeret, sajtot, paradicsomot, banánt.”
Altman, aki tréfásan megjegyezte, hogy Massa úgy néz ki, mint egy “bokszoló”, elárulta, hogy a brazil versenyzőnek mostantól nem lesz szüksége semmilyen speciális kezelésre. “Csak meg kell erősödnie” – mondta róla, de arról nem volt hajlandó nyilatkozni, hogy meddig tarthat a teljes felépülése.
Maga Massa azonban állítása szerint már a visszatérésre gondol. “Természetesen. Ez az egyetlen dolog, ami foglalkoztatja. Nincsenek félelmei” – erősítette meg. – “Úgy véli, már Valenciában képes lenne versenyezni.”
Altman elárulta azt is, hogy Massa jól fogadta, amikor megtudta, hogy a felépüléséig egykori csapattársa, Michael Schumacher fogja helyettesíteni a Ferrarinál.
“A barátaival és a testvérével még viccelődött is erről” – mesélte Altman, ismét hangsúlyozva, hogy Massa “biztosan” visszatérhet majd a pályára. – “Elmondta nekünk, hogy hallott a Schumacherről szóló hírekről. Azt mondta: ‘Majd meglátjuk, hagyom-e vezetni, mert én nem adom fel!’”
A Gazetta dello Sport-nak Altman megerősítette azt is, hogy miután a Rubens Barrichello autójából kieső rugó fejbe találta, Massa agyának csak egy “apró” részében keletkezett ödéma, és nem szenvedett maradandó károsodást.
“Szombattól kezdve is mindenre emlékszik, kivéve magát a balesetet, amiből semmire” – mondta Altman. – “Tudja, milyen nap van ma, és azzal is tisztában van, hogy két-három napig eszméletlen volt.”
A Honvéd Kórház előtt Altman rövid beszélgetést folytatott az FIA Intézet alelnökével, Gérard Saillant professzorral is, akiről elmondta, hogy végig Massa mellett volt. Ugyanakkor cáfolta azokat a korábbi híreket, melyek szerint Massát átszállítják Saillant párizsi klinikájára, ahol annak idején Michael Schumachert is kezelték a lábtörése után.
“Nem. Egyszer fontolóra vettük ezt, de ennyi” – mondta Altman. – “(Massa) egyelőre Magyarországon marad. Nem hoztunk olyan döntést, hogy elszállítsuk.”
Altman hozzátette, hogy Massa a kórházból egyenesen “haza” fog menni, de hogy brazíliai vagy monacói otthonába, azt még nem döntötték el. “Ezt még nem tudom. Nagyon sok mindentől függ, például attól, hogy mikor hagyja el a kórházat, úgyhogy nehéz lenne választ adni erre.”
Altman – aki egyben a Brazil Nagydíj főorvosa is – elárulta, hogy az FIA Gary Hartstein által vezetett orvoscsoportja kezdettől fogva együttműködött a Honvéd Kórház szakembereivel.
“Az FIA csapata végig közreműködött Massa ellátásában, minden döntést együtt hoztak meg a magyar orvosokkal” – mondta. – “Nagyon jó orvosok vannak itt. A kórház, a felszerelés, az orvosok, a munkájuk, minden rendkívül magas színvonalú.”
Szerdán délután ismét látogatást tett Massánál a Ferrari elnöke, Luca di Montezemolo is.
