A Felipe Massát műtő orvos szerint a Ferrari Forma-1-es pilótája nincs már életveszélyben, azonban szemsérülése kihatással lehet további sportolói pályafutására.
- Felipe Massát, a Ferrari Forma-1-es brazil pilótáját a Magyar Nagydíj szombat délutáni időmérő edzésén érte baleset: az előtte haladó Rubens Barrichello autójáról leszakadt rúgó fejen találta. Massa ezután óriási sebességgel a gumifalnak csapódott. A versenyzőt koponyatöréssel szállították be az Állami Egészségügyi Központ (ÁEK) intenzív osztályára, ahol egyórás előkészítés után megoperálták.
A Felipe Massát műtő orvos, Veres Róbert az AP hírügynökségnek elmondta: nem lehet tudni, hogy a Magyar Nagydíj szombati időmérőjén súlyosan megsérült brazil versenyző bal szeme milyen mértékben károsodott. Massa állapota stabil.
Az Állami Egészségügyi Központ (ÁEK), közismert nevén Honvéd Kórház sajtóügyeletese az MTI-nek elmondta: az este 6 órakor tartandó sajtótájékoztatón számolnak be Massa állapotáról, addig nem kommentálják a híreket.
A pilótát hétfőn meglátogatta Luca di Montezemolo, a Ferrari elnöke.
Hangsúlyozta: a legfontosabb Massa állapota, azonban a csapat nem várhat túl sokáig azzal, hogy eldöntse, ki helyettesíti majd a brazil versenyzőt.
Felipe Massa 2002 óta versenyez az autósport elitkategóriájában, eddig 116 futamon indult, 11 alkalommal intették le elsőként, és 15-ször rajtolt az élről.
